GLASTONBURY
Day 1. Monday, July 7. Arrive to Glastonbury.
Evening welcome reception and orientation. (Bristol is the closest international airport if you are flying from outside of the UK. Go to the "Accommodation" link at the top of this page for travel information.)
Day 2. Tuesday, July 8. Glastonbury.
We will meet up at 10am.

Enjoy a leisurely morning sleeping in. We will then explore Glastonbury where it is said that Joseph of Arimathea brought the first Christianity to these shores in 63 AD, and possibly even the Holy Grail. We will visit the ruins of the famous abbey where King Arthur’s bones are rumoured to be buried, take a delightful walk up the faery isle of Glastonbury Tor and enjoy the assault on the senses of the beautiful Chalice Well Gardens where the blood waters of the Holy Grail are said to flow.
Day 3. Wednesday, July 9. Avebury, White Horse Uffington and Waylands Smithy. Return via Bath
Depart Glastonbury at 9:45am and return around 7:00pm.

Day 4. Thursday, July 10. Stonehenge and Salisbury.
Depart Glastonbury at 3:30am and return around 3:30pm.

Sunrise at Stonehenge. We begin our morning with an early departure from Glastonbury to the most famous stone circle in the world, Stonehenge, where we have obtained exclusive entrance. Here we will participate in ceremony to honour the ancestors as we experience the spectacular sunrise. The site of Stonehenge was in use from about 2800 B.C. and remains a spectacular and impressive sacred place. We will delve into the ancestor’s sacred calendar and endeavour to unwind some of the hidden facts and fictions of this important ancient structure.
We continue on to visit Salisbury Cathedral, one of the greatest medieval English buildings, now housing on of the three copies of the Magna Carta.
Day 5. Friday, July 11. Glastonbury.

Late afternoon we gather together in the Town Hall for ORBS: Interacting with Other Realms, with engaging presentations throughout the weekend from William Bloom, Diana Cooper, Jude Currivan, Klaus Heinemann, Miceal Ledwith, Daniel Pinchbeck, John Pickering & Katie Hall, and Freddy Silva.
