Sometimes it feels really good to have a meaningful conversation with new and old friends.

During this time of unprecedented change many of us may find ourselves alone with our questions and challenges. With traditional religion no longer filling our spiritual needs and scientific materialism leaving us with soulless exploitative competitive explanations, we need an expanded community of friends. Often we do not find respite from our current relationships. As Barbara Marx Hubbard points out, “Humanity is facing unprecedented, evolutionary change,” and we need others to share it with.

We at GreatMystery.org are encouraging you to come together in an extended family through Salons where you get together to talk about some of the topics we’ve put on the table, such as 2012, spirituality, evolutionary change, indigenous teachings, the ancients, environmental actions, shamanism, alternative health, quality relationships, or whatever you find of interest. This is a wonderful way to make new friends and meet kin and to learn from one another.

If you would like to participate in a Salon but there is not one in your area, consider becoming a coordinator. We will help you organize your Salon and act as an intermediary to help you connect with others in your area.
