Robin Johnson and I have decided to give to those in serious life threatening illness gifts of what could be healing and life. We are giving away passes to the Just For The Health Of It! Conference at no charge as long as there is room, and for 30 people who are challenged by travel, we are giving two nights accommodation for each of them at the beautiful Marina del Rey Marriott Resort. We have the room in our hearts and will make room at the conference for those needing healing, especially those hard pressed financially. To our knowledge there has never been this many powerful healers together in one place at one time and we invite those who have the faith and the desire to become healed to join this celebration and learn and experience new ways of working with healing energy.
We all know that Life offers no guarantees. However, the more we open to the possibilities, the more we can experience the fullness that Life has to offer. Sometimes an illness can be one’s life path to awakening, or the gift of awakening for one’s family members. Research has also shown that misinformation, fear, conditioning, and feelings of deep seated unworthiness, may stand in the way of the acceptance of healing. But together we will do what we can to overcome these challenges. Even if somebody isn’t healed in the traditional sense, the information and energy shared at the conference may lead to greater inner peace and a feeling of connection with our larger community and with Spirit.

If you are called, as we are, to contribute to the healing of as many people as possible in life threatening need, we invite you to open your heart and help out in any way you can. Any help you are able to give will be most warmly received (it looks like this will cost us between $18,000 to $20,000 for hotel accommodations and other expenses to do this, so any help you can chip in would be sweet karma).
Let’s be clear. We’re not attempting to replace the work of people’s doctors. We encourage everyone to work with their doctors as well as their guides, healers, medicine people, or therapists.
What we are creating is a healing community during this weekend. This healing community could be significant because most often people who experience medical miracles do not do this by themselves, but rather with others. This power is implied in the often quoted statement that Jesus/Spirit is present whenever two or more people are gathered together. Miraculous possibilities are greater by coming together than when people are isolated.
As the highly regarded physician Lewis Mehl-Madrona, M.D., Ph.D. says, “Modern medicine lacks an understanding of the importance of community, though my patients who found miracles were all nurtured by community…Having a (healing) community nurtures hope in times of despair.”

RESURRECTION - THE FILM
During the lunch hour on Saturday and Sunday we will be showing the 1980 film classic, Resurrection.
Resurrection achieves a spiritual depth rarely found in Hollywood movies. In one of her finest performances, Ellen Burstyn stars as Edna McCauley, a transplanted farm girl who develops healing powers following an accident that left her widowed and paralyzed. Returning to her Kansas homeland, she attracts awe and controversy, performing healings while deflecting any pretense of religion. That's a risky position in the Bible belt, and even Edna's new beau Cal (Sam Shepard) responds with zealous incredulity, fearing what he can't understand while others embrace Edna with unquestioning faith. Through it all, Edna remains calmly resolute as the conduit of an extraordinary gift. The movie dares to suggest that miracles reside within everyone, and that pure grace will manifest itself in unexpected ways.
