As a professional photographer Nancy Burson has caught numerous highly interesting orb images, especially at crop circles in Wiltshire, England, and at home in her New York City loft. She has come to connect directly with the orbs and is able to see and experience them without the use of a camera as they morph and form into energy beings. She teaches others to do this as well.

Nancy Burson's work is shown in museums and galleries internationally including major exhibitions at The International Center of Photography and the New Museum in New York City, The Venice Biennale, The Contemporary Arts Museum in Houston, and The Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago. "Seeing and Believing", her traveling 2002 retrospective originating at the Grey Art Gallery, was nominated for Best Solo Museum Show of the Year in New York City by the International Association of Art Critics. She has served as a visiting professor at Harvard and was a member of the adjunct photography faculty at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.

Burson is best known for her pioneering work in morphing technology, which enhances the human face, enabling law enforcement officials to locate missing children and adults. Her Human Race Machine, which allows people to view themselves as a different race, was featured on Oprah in 2006. Currently there are Human Race Machines touring the U.S. college and university market, as a diversity tool that provides students with the profound visual experience of being another race.

In the last few years she has collaborated with Creative Time, the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, and Deutsche Bank in completing several important public art projects in New York City. These projects include the billboard 'There's No Gene For Race" and the poster/postcard project "Focus on Peace." The LMCC's "Focus on Peace" project distributed 30,000 postcards and 7,000 posters around the site of the World Trade Center to coincide with the first anniversary of 9/11. Burson's first text-based book, Focus: How Your Energy Can Change the World, was published in 2004, about which Yoko Ono Lennon calls, “A simple recipe to change the world, totally and quickly. A must read for all those interested in a more peaceful planet.”

In addition to authoring four books of her photography, Nancy’s latest book Lineage is the true story of the miraculous phenomena of dancing Mary (witnessed by a New York Times reporter), that has been occurring in her New York City loft since the summer of 2005. From this Nancy discovered that the orb guests in her loft are highly sentient beings, or ECs (Extra-Celestials) she originally met in a crop circle in England, who accepted her invitation to come and cohabitate.
