In addition to outstanding presenters, one of the features of the Orbs Conference in Palm Springs, a feature that was most popular and informative during our prior conference in Sedona, is the Orbs Talking Stick presentations. A select group of delegates will be presenting their orb experiences in photos and video and talking of their feelings and conclusions.

Below are short synopses from the Talking Stick presenters with some of their experiences.

"My experience with the orb phenomenon began in the fall of 2003. At that time I had never heard of such a thing as an orb. It was the beginning of a most fascinating and exciting journey which has progressed over time. The progressions have been twofold—in the nature of my pictures and the changes within me. The orb manifestations have become nothing less than magnificent, in every color of the rainbow with a density that makes them appear as if one could reach out and touch them. I have gained new insights and heightened awareness throughout this journey, from the orbs appearing in my photos to the exceptional people it has brought into my life. I have been blessed by many gifted teachers and enjoy the camaraderie of others who have embarked on their own orb exploration. My recently published book, Orbs – A Personal Journey has provided me new opportunities to share this experience and pictures with others who are not yet aware of, or just discovering this joyful phenomenon. The sense of peace and serenity provided me during the course of this journey has changed my perspective on many aspects of life."

"The appearance of orbs in my life have occurred all within the last five months since attending the premier of the Orbs documentary NYC. Initially failing to capture any images on my digital camera I gave up and forgot about it. I was shocked and delighted two weeks later to discover beautiful orbs in the nighttime photos of my beloved Christmas penguin window display during the first snowflakes of December. The orbs continued to surprise me, showing up en mass at a joyous family Christmas gathering, at a spiritually charged blessing of the infant Jesus at the nativity at St. Patrick's Cathedral on new year's eve, at a Native American ceremonial dance honoring the waters of the earth. But more importantly, in only a few weeks after sharing photos with incredulous coworkers, the orbs began showing up in /their/ photos as well! Most spectacular are the large and numerous orbs at a spiritual conference in a church in NYC. But it's more than just an interesting phenomenon --the orbs have created an awakening within myself and others as a result of their appearances. I have begun to understand and recognize their presence, corresponding with the energy I feel at the time, usually of great joy or the feeling of spiritual presence. I feel spirit gently nudging me to "take the photos" at particular times and places. I am thrilled to have them in my life and wish to share this journey with others."

"I have seen and felt the presence of spiritual beings all my life. Having been a shutterbug for years, I take pictures everywhere I go, and quite often, many beings appear in my photos. I went to Mount Shasta, CA twice in 2007 to experience the portal energy, taking pictures the entire time. Included in this trip was the walk-through of several caves with a group of women whose purpose was to go into these caves to assist in freeing souls that they felt were trapped. Their intention was to change their frequency of being “childlike” so that the spirits there would feel more comfortable. As I was walking through the caves, I had butterflies in my stomach and goose bumps all over my body. I could see faces and hundreds of orbs of beings, feeling compassion for them. When I got to the last cave, I saw a transparent blue and red form moving horizontally, leading me into the cave. Overwhelmed by the feeling of this presence, I took the time to sit and connect with these souls, receiving messages of gratitude for recognizing them. Lastly, I placed a portal of light in the cave inviting these beings to go into the light and be free. They immediately left, and I felt my mission was completed. You’ll be amazed at these pictures!"

"I am Spanish and I live in Brussels (Belgium). I prefer to refer to Orbs as Presences, which means at the same time a "Being" and its condition of "being present". My first photography with a Presence was taken in Budapest (Hungary) with my first digital camera, in 2007 may. I was there with my Italian friend Claudia, who made me aware of It. From this day I have taken hundreds of photos with Orbs. As to my friend, she began the same day to see them directly. My experience tells me that Orbs are around or near artists, healers or spiritual people, chlidren, but also in the country, in a temple, in the sky, etc. I guess that they are Beings of other realms of Life, who are actually with us when they appear on the photos. I am convinced that in other dimensions of Life there is no difference between Light and Love, that's why they appear when there is love and joy "in the air". If we want to go on with our communication with Them, it has to be not only through techniques but through our capacity to love."

"Late last year we began noticing what seemed to be movement in the orbs in our pictures; there were always streaks of light building up to the bright orb sitting next to one of us in so many of our pictures, so we decided to get a video camera. A Christmas gift, how appropriate! At the time we didn’t realize the incredible gift we were about to discover when we turned the camera on, but to our amazement they were everywhere, and we have been blessed with their presence ever since. In the beginning, it took a bit of coaxing to invite the orbs into our view, asking them to come and play; come and play, but now that we have been recording them for over two months, they are present whenever we turn the lights out and the camera on. They are interactive, each one separate from the next, pausing in front of the camera to be noticed….almost as if saying” pick me, pick me”. It seems as if the more we play with them, the more they want to be seen. We have come to believe that they are with us always, even when we are not recording….always present as long as we ask them to. We’ve finally stopped asking “is this just dust”, and realized that dust doesn’t blink, or pause in mid air, but still have so many questions: what/who are they….where do they come from….why have they come…..what is next….and thus we are thrilled about the conference, and the chance to share our adventure with yours."

"Born in County Kilkenny, Southern Ireland, I settled in England with my husband Tony in the 60's. We had four children and I am now the proud grand-mother of seven grand-children. Being very spiritual from a very early age and aware of orbs since I was a child, I didn't give much thought to the little sparkly lights I was seeing, as I just thought they were the stars coming out to play! Looking back, I remember I used to have visions of spirit as well and over the years have discovered that there is so much more to orbs than we would all imagine! I felt this strongly, particularly after losing my husband five years ago, as these were always around to give me comfort but I soon started to notice I was getting a lot more detail within my photography. To my amazement I was even getting confirmation from mediums that I had captured actual images of loved ones in the family, in their spirit form, one of them being my grandmother. The images captured goes on and on to include spirit animals, fairies, numerology and misty people."

"My introduction to orbs began on a trip to Orkney, Scotland in the summer of 2006. An orb chose to introduce itself to me on one of my photos taken in a charming 'glen' in Orkney. That photograph and reading, Beyond Photography has led me into a part of our world that had been unknown to me. Since that time I've taken some remarkable photos. And I look forward to sharing a few photos and experiences at the Conference in Palm Springs."

"I have been photographing the 'unseen' since 2001. At first, I used throw-away cameras, then two years ago, a digital Sony Cyber-shot (7.2 mega pixels). It starts with a 'feeling and knowing' that sends a sensation I must heed. Without hesitation, I know to take a photograph of a seemingly simple tree, sky or even an empty space. The end product has produced over one-thousand photos of the mysteriously and beautiful world of the 'unseen'. During development, I stay close to the raw image, using limited editing in contrast, brightness or cropping. The colors you will see, are already there without color enhancement, or, any other cyber-magic techniques. My presentation will include: orbs, luminosities, spirit apparitions, light tunnels, vortexes and UFOs. As each of the 21 photos transitions to the next, I will tell you it's given name.

Also.................I have an interesting story I want to share:
Since I was a wee child, I often wished to find the forever, romantic 'message in a bottle' floating on a body of water. On February 27, that wish was fulfilled. It came to me across the cosmic sea in the form of a personal 'message in an orb'. As the story goes, on February 22, I lost a dear loved one to cancer. Upon his parting, he promised to visit me in four different ways. Within five days of his passing, two of his promises manifested. The one I wish to share with you, will be the first photo-slide. It is a blue orb inside of a purple orb. I have photographed blue orbs and purple orbs; but never, one inside the other (which he knew). It was also a day, an unknown source, had gifted my husband and I, a piece of river property in an area that our our friend, Robert, knew we had hoped to own one day. Although our hearts were heavy with grief and sadness, this starling news brought new excitement. Immediately, we journeyed an hour to take a 'looksee' for ourselves. While walking the land, I spotted an area between two trees that glistened with the 'sparkly' of the sun. Then that familiar 'feeling and knowing' came as I poised my camera and said, "Smile for me." I knew something special had happened; and, it was recorded on my camera. Little did I know, that my personal 'message in an orb' had floated across the cosmic sea, just for me to receive that day. Thus, my opening slide is, 'The Promise'."

"Joanna Bristow-Watkins is one of the UK’s leading spiritual therapists who is coming to Palm Springs specifically to speak at the conference. Previously a training specialist and then Managing Director of a travel company, Joanna now teaches Ancient Egyptian healing philosophies and leads Spiritual journeys to many of the world’s most potent sacred sites. These bring her into regular contact with orbs, which she now regards as Guardians and Symbols of our Higher Spiritual Selves. Joanna became fascinated with orbs in 2003 and has dozens of photographs. Many are taken close to sacred sites (especially Egypt and the UK), often coinciding with a sacred ceremony, sometimes even in daylight, such as at Abu Gurab, Egypt and on the way to a sound ceremony at West Kennett Longbarrow, near Avebury/Silbury Hill, England."

"We lost our only child, Eric, age 27, to suicide in 1995. He was a gifted, highly successful young man with two careers -- transportation engineering (he'd just received a big promotion)...and acting. He lived in Los Angeles and had a speaking part in the movie Forrest Gump. We had had no idea he had suffered from depression for years. His letter to us said it started in his senior year at Vanderbilt. (He graduated with honors in four years with a double major in engineering and math; he worked two jobs as well to help pay for college.) He said that each time a bout of depression came back...it came back worse.

"My husband and I who both worked at the nearby University (we're now retired) have been married for 45 years; he's 75, I'm 66. We were devastated by the loss of this handsome, funny, brilliant, caring young man.

"In fact, my grief catapulted me into what is called in the literature (Stan Grof, Itzhak Bentov, et al) a "spontaneous spiritual emergency", or "kundalini". I thought I was losing my mind. All kinds of things were happening to me physically and emotionally. Energy would shoot through me and out my feet. I'd wake up out of a sound sleep shaking, with fits of laughter...then alternately crying....writing down completed poems....etc. Again, at the time I truly did believe I was losing my mind.

"Because of all this, so as not to disturb my husband, a professor who was still teaching, I moved downstairs to a guest room to sleep. My bed was next to a window overlooking our deck. Beyond our yard is the lake we live on.

"One night, full of despair and feeling suicidal myself, I called out,
'Oh Eric! My life is lost without you. All there is is darkness....'

"All of a sudden, hundreds of lights appeared outside my window. I was shocked and delighted. I'd never seen anything like this before. The closest thing I knew was fireflies, but these didn't look like any fireflies I'd ever seen before.

"I know now they were ORBS! Orbs who responded not only to my lament but also to the high energy vibrating....charging...through me at the time....due to the effects of the kundalini.

"At the time I took the appearance of these "fireflies" (I had no other word) as a sign from my son and other spirits who meant to help me and give me hope.....who meant to let me know I wasn't alone.....who meant to keep me going...and alive.

"I never told anyone of this amazing experience -- who would believe me?

"I even wrote a book, Eric's Story: Surviving a Son's Suicide, describing my experiences, including the kundalini and some other amazing things that happened to me. But I left out the "fireflies"' appearance sensing I'd be thought of as just a poor, pathetic mother who had gone mad with grief and was hallucinating.

"Now thirteen years later, I have learned about orbs, thanks to a long-standing interest I've had over the years in science, particularly quantum physics, consciousness, chaos theory, and complexity.

"In pursuing these interests, including the movie What the Bleep Do We Know? and discussions with scientists, including Fred Alan Wolf in San Francisco, I came upon, this year, Dr. William A. Tiller's DVD, Conscious Acts of Creation. I became interested in his experiments with intention and found an old (2001) paper of his with a figure showing images I thought may be orbs. So I wrote to him. He replied that they weren't orbs....but that they did look like them...and that my suggestion may some day help with their understanding of the nature of the phenomenon of orbs.

"I have also recently enjoyed the DVD and book, Orbs: Lifting the Veil.....and, even more recently, Beyond Photography as well.

"I was given my first digital camera as a gift last month. Since then, I've been taking pictures with countless orbs in them -- small ones.....bright ones....huge, intricately-patterned ones.....some photos with dozens of them at a time. I couldn't be more thrilled to have finally learned what it was that I experienced all those years ago...looking out my window, calling out to my son.

"Now I communicate with, and photograph them, myself! Since that dark night long ago....and more recently with all these new discoveries.....orbs have changed my life forever.

"I am just so grateful to have found The Prophets Conference and all the work and experiences the presenters have had studying and thinking about and interacting with orbs.

"And, I'm certain now my son is just fine."
