During our recent Prophets Conference expedition into Mexico and Guatamala with John Perkins and Llyn Roberts, our group performed indigenous ritual at Palenque with two outstanding shamanic teachers, Mario Gómez Mayorga and Rocío López Ruíz. These shamanic teachers and healers so impressed our group that we have asked them to join us at our Cancun conference to both lecture and perform ceremony.

Mario Gómez Mayorga will be guiding the opening and closing ceremonies for the conference cycle. He will also be a conference speaker and join the sacred temple tour.

Founder and director of Con Ciencia Indígena, (With Indigenous Science) Mario has more than 22 years of relationship with the most preserved indigenous groups of Mexico sharing Toltec roots, basically Huichols, Mazatecs, Nahuas, and Mayas. He teaches workshops, retreats, and conferences related to human development, self healing, and shamanic techniques, transmitting practical ways to apply indigenous knowledge in modern everyday life. Conducts tours to Mexican natural power places and prehispanic cities to make deep connections though ceremonies, rituals and indigenous practices. 30 years of experience in altered states of consciousness assisting and helping people into those realms and healings though sacred power plants.
Being a member of Conservacion Humana A.C. he has participated in the re-opening of an almost lost millenary pilgrimage route, a 680 kilometers walk to the most sacred lands of the Huichol nation.
Mario is author of the book Here and Now dealing with subjects as lucidity, awareness, attention focus, and consciousness.
A few months ago he was filmed by The History Channel for a segment of the series “Strange Rituals” in the documentary “Last rites” showing a Toltec live burial initiation ceremony, “The Burial of the Warrior”.
His main concern has been to transmit tools that may help people in the self exploration adventure, with no other teacher than direct experience and intentionally made actions, with the foundation that no one can teach you anything but only you can learn or teach yourself. As well as to recover the relationship with nature and Mother Earth thanks to whom we exist and can help us make deep connections with the spirit of life.

Rocío López Ruíz
The entrance to a great change is getting closer, but Rocio never personally imagined that the change would be so real. After living an ordinary life, at the age of 21 a clinic death brought a 360° shift to her life and from this experience she has been dedicated to the exploration of subconscious depths though indigenous Toltec knowledge as a personal transformation tool.
Being a nutritional adviser she has dedicated more than 18 years to physical, mental and spiritual health, aware that nutrition is much more than what we eat, since we nourish ourselves from what we think, say, listen, see, personal relations, and the world in which we live.
For 16 years she has been an active coordinator in Con Ciencia Indigena´s human development workshops, teaching self healing and shamanic techniques, transmitting practical ways to apply indigenous knowledge into everyday life.
She now has 16 years of relationship with Huichol and Mazatec indigenous nations.
As a member of Conservacion Humana A.C. she was part of the team in the re-opening of the sacred Huichol route.
Rocio participated in the “Sacred Rites” documentary from the History Chanel.
Recently she has a TV nutrition program, and gives nutrition and holistic health workshops, convinced that awakening physical consciousness will gradually unchain a spiritual awakening.

THE PURPOSE OF THIS CONFERENCE is to explore a radically different, more optimistic interpretation of the Mayan prophecy – as referring to the end of the world as we have known it. Instead of predicting a physical destruction of the material world, the Mayan prophecy might refer to death and rebirth and a mass inner transformation of humanity.
